The role:
As a Senior Web Developer ASP.Net Core, you will work on applications that provide critical insights into the performance and operations of our ships. Your primary responsibility is to develop onboard analysis software that seamlessly integrates with our automation systems.This role offers a unique combination of technical challenges and creative freedom. You will work with cutting-edge technology to develop advanced solutions that directly impact the innovation and performance of our ships. While you are part of the Engineering team, you will work largely independently on the implementation and have ample space to execute your ideas. Specifications and requirements are defined by the Product Support department.If you have a passion for technology or shipbuilding, this position is a great opportunity to apply your skills to advanced maritime applications. Your responsibilities:This role offers the opportunity to combine your technical expertise with creativity, work closely with various disciplines, and have the freedom to innovate independently.
In this role, you will:
- Develop software that analyzes and presents data onboard our ships.
- Collaborate with colleagues from Engineering and Digital to create, integrate, and test solutions for our automation systems.
- Play a key role in expanding the functionality of onboard tools to cloud-based platforms.
- Work independently while being part of a highly skilled Engineering team, with room to innovate and experiment.
Your profile:
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:To be successful in this role, you have:
- A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in ASP.Net Core & EF Core (mandatory).
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A solid foundation in technical English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus

After your application, a CV screening will take place. If your profile aligns sufficiently, a brief telephone intake with the Corporate Recruiter will follow. If not, you will be informed via email. The selection process consists of two interview rounds. The first interview will be with the manager and a direct colleague. During the second interview, another manager and someone from HR will join. If everyone is enthusiastic, a phone call will follow to discuss the terms of employment.
