In short: we're looking for a backender who can help us improve our platform, research new ideas and work on innovative projects. After an intense period, where the main goal was to launch as quickly as possible, we are now keen on improving the platform and creating a solid foundation for years to come. This applies as much to the UI as it does for anything behind the scenes. We always have to keep an eye on security and reliability due to the amount of money that is processed via the platform, while also keeping an eye on usability and performance, since we receive up to 50k backend requests per minute, a number that keeps going up.

Jouw rol

We're a hybrid-remote team that values flexibility. Our goal is to see each other at least once a week, because we feel that helps to stay in tune. Other than that, you can work from home or from our office located in the heart of Amsterdam. We're a diverse group of people who love to work hard and play even harder. We offer a Dutch lunch - or Surinamese food on the first Monday of every month, and we have an excellent espresso machine for coffee lovers (but don't worry, we have tea too). We're also a safe, open, and transparent community, and we have the occasional furry friend in the office.

Wie we zoeken

• Experience with Python/Django
• Experience with setting up REST APIs
• A mindset focused on maintainability, scalability and robustness
• This would make you stand out: you have experience with AWS services (e.g. using DynamoDB, Rekognition, S3)

F2F.com is a premium fan engagement platform that has been steadily growing in the past years. We consider ourselves the ethical alternative to the widely known OnlyFans. We believe in personal connections and aim to create a safe, open and transparent platform that brings people together to enjoy engaging and personal (adult) content. Everything we do is carefully thought about in regards to these core values, ensuring that we set a high standard for the fan engagement industry. F2F.com was launched on the 24st of January 2022. In the years since weve grown to a platform processing well over 100k payments, serving more than 4 million users and handling almost 200 million messages per month. And we believe that weve only just started! In order to facilitate this growth we are looking to expand our development team, such that we can keep focusing on innovation, scalability and maintenance. Currently our main tech stack consists of a backend written in Django and a frontend built in React. Our platform is hosted fully on AWS, resulting in AWS-specific implementations such as DynamoDB, Lambda, Rekognition and S3. We also have connections to several external APIs for payments, payouts and content moderation. At the moment the core infrastructure is being migrated from autoscaling EC2 instances to a containerized setup using Kubernetes, which should allow for more fine-grained scaling in the future.
