Software Engineer (C# .NET Core)

The role in a nutshell

You will work with the Digital Channels team. This is an expert center within Knab regarding online marketing and direct messaging. Think of Knab's public website, online campaigns (SAE, SEO, Display and social media), technical web analytics, direct messaging (in-app messages, push notifications, e-mail and SMS). As full stack developer you will support the team by working on existing solutions as well as working on new functionality (think of the public website, direct messaging APIs and more) and align with colleagues across the IT community.

 

What you bring to the table

• 3+ years experience with .NET (preferably .NET 6 or above);
• Experience with building and maintaining Web APIs;
• Experience with modern web development (ReactJS, Emotion, Headless CMS, Server Side Rendering);
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (think of Fargate, EC2, CloudFront, S3);
• You own your freedom to give suggestions to your peers and the principals, challenge them, ask questions;
• Curiosity to initiate changes you might not know the answer to yet, for the greater good;
• Used to owning applications and being self-sufficient;
• You can use Terraform for IaC and Azure DevOps for CI/CD;
• You know your way around containers and container orchestration, and a microservices based distributed architecture;
• Familiar with Networking principles such as load balancing, DNS, Reverse Proxy;
• Own Storage technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
