What impact will you make?

The main goal of our development teams is to build, enhance & maintain our flagship product: PRoMMiSe. This large line-of-business application is built using the Microsoft development stack; SQL(Azure), .NET Core 6 & Angular and is hosted both on-premise at our customers’ datacenters as well as in Azure. We are looking for developers with expertise in one (or more) of these building blocks.

Hypoport B.V. creates FinTech software to enable day-to-day operational processes related to valuation, risk management, monitoring and administration, compliance, data analysis and reporting on multiple asset types (mortgages, business loans, leases, consumer loans etc.). We turn large complex datasets into clear overviews and dashboards, we offer our clients transparency in their fixed income securities and the ability to create regulatory compliant products for capital markets. Hypoport B.V. is operating from Amsterdam, Singapore and South Africa, and is a 100% subsidiary of Hypoport SE (Berlin headquarters).

We are looking for developers with expertise in one (or more) of these building blocks. So, if you love working on the front end and think Angular is the best thing since sliced bread, get in touch! If you dream in T-SQL or feel that C# is the .Net language to rule them all, give us a call! We’ve set up our entire change management system in Azure DevOps: sprint planning, source code control & our CI/CD build- & release pipelines are all taken care of. So, our developers can focus on the creative process and write good/clean code instead of being hassled by all kinds of administrative duties.

How do you do this?

• You will work in one of our 5 (international) development teams which are all based in Amsterdam, depending on your preference, fit and expertise
• You will write code, but also evaluate other developers’ code (code reviews are part of our change management process)
• You make suggestions on how to improve our code but also our change processes
• You work together with developers and (information)analysts to turn functional requirements into working software

Who are you?

Let’s be honest, you’re a nerd! You love technology, you think writing software is like writing music, our painting a picture: it’s art. With enough input to go on, you can work independently but you prefer to work together with other developers. Also, not only do you have good ideas on how to improve software and processes, but you are also able to communicate these ideas effectively.

• You have a relevant Bachelor’s or university Master’s degree (for example Information Science);
• Relevant work experience (in the financial sector) is a plus, not a must;
• You have good command of the English language (plus the Dutch and/or German language)
• You are available 32 to 40 hours a week and are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
